FRAUD ALERT
We have been receiving calls about someone calling and asking for debit card information because the member's card has been deactivated. They claim to be from Star FCU and are requesting you to give your card number and the 3 digit number on the back of your card so they can reactive the card for you. This is a SCAM!!!! NEVER give this information out over the phone or the internet unless you are making a purchase. The credit union would have all necessary information needed to process any debit card related issues. If you receive this call simply hang up... under no circumstances give this information to them.
